Pushpa: The Rise Movie Review
Pushpa: The Rise, Part-1
Pushpa, the most hyped movie from a South Indian sector. But, is the hype worth? A 3 hour movie shows a lot of aspects. The story is all about smuggling a special kind of wood found in the particular part in India. The smuggling is done by many gangs, making a syndicate of working together. The movie reflects only the bad side and how Pushparaj(Allu Arjun) makes money out of smuggling wood. Coming from a small family he makes money out of smuggling just to show people his worth.
The movie is somewhat similar to KGF, but, KGF somewhere or the other shows a good side and hides the black side for sometime, which is bearable. The movie has a meaning and teaches something out of it, but, Pushpa is a complete 3 hour movie just showing bad side and teaches you nothing out of it. You want to see a movie, just because we haven't seen a lot in these 2 years, it is okay for timepass, but watching the movie seriously doesn't make sense. Wow, what an irony.
The movie has a lot of songs and is unlike other South Indian movies. Usually, South Indian movies have pace and the story line is clear and fast, unlike this movie. The story line was good but you cannot feel the story pace at any moment. The story is not to the point and has a lot of scenes which were unrequired and the story goes out of hand. The scenes are really good. The direction all over was fabulous and the cinematography is also appreciated, but, a movie needs a good point to point story line which was missing.
All paragraphs short, the movie is made only for enjoyment(which I did not see anywhere in the movie) and a really slow story line. It was really boring as compare to other South Indian movies. The movie is NOT worth the hype, still the decision stays on you! You can watch it if you want.
